In 2017 Venturefest is focused on supporting companies who support or contribute to smart living and sustainable futures. Companies will operate across 5 sectors;
IdeaSquares is partnered with the UK's two leading equity investment platforms, Seedrs and Crowdcube and in 2016 have supported millions of pounds of funding across both of those platforms. Venturefest and IdeaSquares are teaming up to provide equity crowdfunding training to some of the country's most innovative startups.
Selected companies will be taken through12-15 weeks of training, towards an eventual launch on one of IdeaSquares partner platforms. If you're considering investment to make significant change to your business and you feel that you contribute to creating smart living environments and towards a more sustainable future, this may be for you. The programmes will support clients seeking to raise between £100k - £1.5m and who are interested in the ancillary benefits that crowdfunding can provide. Such as creating greater brand awareness, gaining new customers, suppliers and advisors, brand ambassadors and allowing your own network to become part of your future.
IdeaSquares training programmes provide group and 1-1 support over 12-15 weeks. As well as benefiting from our regular accelerator programmes which combine physical training days with weekly 1-1 support, daily project management and a full schedule of events that is built around our partner platform processes, Venturefest and their partners will also provide additional support such as;
- Profiling from TechSPARK
- PR Support
- Expert mentoring from digital and/or high tech specialists
- Pitch training and pitching opportunities.
